Guadalajara Guadalajara!

So yesterday we arrived in Guadalajara, Mexico...the birthplace of tequila, mariachis, charros (mexican cowboys) and pozole (hominy soup). We spent the morning exploring the bustling nondescript downtown. In the afternoon we walked around Parque Colomos, a huge park with a Japanese garden donated by the city of Kyoto, Japan, Guadalajara´s sister city. The park tired us out so much that we slept for 4 hours before dinner!

Ahhh the tough life of a traveller!

Ayer llegamos a Guadalajara cuna del tequila, mariachis, charros y pozole. Pasamos toda la mañana explorando el centro de la ciudad. La catedral, el hospicio Cabañas, el teatro degollado y la rotonda a los hombres ilustres nos dejaron sin aliento (nondescript :)). En la tarde fuimos al parque Colomos el cual tiene un jardin japones donado por la hermana ciudad de Kioto. Despues fuimos al hotle para dormir por un rato...4 horas.

Que dificil es ser turista.....
